Burrrr

I love this time of year when the house gets decorated in Halloween and the aroma of pumpkin spice flows throughout the house. We can open our windows at night and wear sweaters! I hope we keep getting these cold fronts but I'm sure it won't last that long. We had a fun time BBQ-ing this Sunday, we ate outside and ate good food on the grill along with ice cold beer mmm. Cade loves playing outside so we spend a lot of time out there these days! It's so nice where we live, there is no city noise and we have a great view from the backyard with the water! Here is a couple pictures of silly Cade.

Kendall's annual Halloween Party

Saturday evening was Kendall's annual Halloween party. Cade was so excited to dress up (well sort of hehe) My friend Becky is so good at face painting it's ridiculous. So we dressed Cade in his Count Dracula costume and headed to her house right before the party so she could paint his face, he did pretty good sitting still considering he has NO patients but he's almost 2 and that's expected! They threw a great party with a very cool haunted house and not to mention all the food that was there was delicious. Grandma Cindy was Mrs. Autumn and Grandpa was some weird scary swamp thing meets pirate lol. Cade had a ton of fun playing with all the kids there I swear he thinks he's 5 years old, that boy can't keep up. Kendall is always so good with Cade and Cade just loves her. Bobby and I did not dress up, we have just been so busy with other things that we had no time to put any thought into a costume for us so we just made sure Cade looked great :)

Breast Cancer 5k

My boss Lori has always wanted to accomplish a 5k race, I told her I would love to do it too. So we did it! Myself, Lori and Amber woke our happy little bodies up bright and early this past Saturday morning and drove to Dade City to participate in the Breast Cancer 5k race. It was an amazing day, first off the weather couldn't have been any more beautiful and being around women who were in high spirits and great energy was touching. We got to hear some of the breast cancer survivors stories and that how lucky they are to still be here, it really puts things into perspective and knowing that we did this 5k race and raised money for the foundation gave us a special kind of fullfilment. Us girls had so much fun we can't wait to do it again! Then we celebrated and went to eat yummy mexican food and a super cute resturaunt.

A stroll on the beach

After dinner on Sunday Bobby wanted to go to Hudson beach to get ice cream and walk around while the sun was getting to set. Unfortunately it was cloudy out so we didn't get to see the sunset but Cade had fun playing in the little playground on the beach. This isn't the nicest beach around but it was fun just to go and relax after dinner and let Cade burn some energy and not to mention it's only 10 minutes from the house.

There was a ton of fearless ducks there and Cade wanted to play with them so bad it was so cute. You can tell people around there feed these ducks because they kept coming over to us wanting food. Cade had picked up a napkin off the ground (I know gross) and the ducks thought it was food and totally swarmed to Cade trying to get the napking, it was funny but scary at the sametime because you never know what these crazy ducks might do!

Pumpkin Patch

There is a church by our house that has a little pumpkin patch every year, so we decided to take Cade there to pick out his pumpkins. We took him last year but he was to small to run around and participate in the activities. He loved it! He picked out a little pumpkin all by himself and he also got some stickers there to decorate it. We also got a HUGE pumpkin for outside the house to carve. I wanted to get that weird bubbly type of pumpkin but Bobby said it would be hard to carve so we didn't get it but it was very cool looking. Here are some photos bobby snapped.
