Wyatts 2 week check up...

Wyatt had his 2 week check up yesterday, the doctor was concerned about his weight at 8lbs 9oz, he was born at 8lbs 13oz, he should be well over his birth weight by now. She wants me to wake him more often at night to get in a couple extra feedings, I don't know how I feel about waking a sleeping baby, he wakes up once a night to eat.....pretty good to me lol. He also still looked a little yellowish so they did a jaundice screening along with his newborn screening. He was a little jaundice at birth but nothing to worry about. His belly button is still on and the smell of it drives me crazy!

We are enjoying every minute with him and Cade just loves him to pieces!

Here is a picture I snapped this morning!

Height 22 inches 75-90 percentile
Weight 8lbs 9oz 25-50 percentile
Head 37cm 25-50 percentil
(2 weeks 2 days)

For our daddy!

Cade and I took these pictures for Bobby for Father's Day. I got a 20x16 in canvas and it looks so beautiful hanging in our bedroom!

Waiting for baby....

I'm 37 weeks today!

I'm scheduled to be induced on 8-9-10 but until then Cade and I are having a blast together and spending as much time together before his brother comes. Cade has been the best little helper to me by letting me rest a lot and getting me water and snacks! I'm thankful to have him in my life and to think I will have another boy to take care of me makes me very happy and content! I will try to get on here and post some more but I just get to lazy, I figure I'm always updating on facebook.

Busy lil bees

Cade and I have been keeping very busy. I joined the YMCA and we absolutely love going. They have so much to offer there not to mention a cool water park outside for summer time. They keep the kids busy at the child watch center with going to the gymnasium and making arts and crafts, I couldn't believe how well structured it is. I'm also glad we get to go with our good friends, it's nice have a workout partner! I was going to put Cade in the soccer that the Y has to offer but we will be gone so much this summer that he will miss more than half of the games. When we get back from out last vacation in FL in June we were thinking about putting him in gymnastic to get his body ready for football next year. Bobby has already decided that he will be a football player and we do live in Texas so that's what everyone breaths and sleeps here lol. I will to to get on here more and post but sometimes I just get lazy :)

Happy Spring!

Squeeky clean

I've been super lucky with finding doctors for our family that we LOVE through referrals! Cade's first dental appointment was last July in FL and I thought his dentist was really nice and the atmosphere was great but not compared to his new dentist! This place was AWESOME he played with the dental assistants for a good 20 mins before even getting started. They had these big stuffed animals with real teeth (or the looked real haha) that Cade got to play with and brush the teeth. I think is favorite part was playing with the equipment, he loved squirting the water and sucking it up haha typical boy.

They said he barley had any plaque on his teeth and to keep up the good brushing (thanks mommy) They brushed, flossed, polished and painted some stuff on his teeth. He also told the ladies that he's going to have a baby brother lol it was cute!

Oh boy!

Another boy for the Bauer family! Cade will be the BEST big brother and I'm glad he will get to grow up with brother I think it's a great deal! I know everyone was hoping for a girl but hey maybe one day my mom will finally get a granddaughter but not now, she will be enjoying her 5 grandsons maybe one day if we move back to AZ we will start a soccer team lol!

I'm right at 20 weeks and the baby is good and healthy. I ran the idea by my doctor about being induced at the beginning of August she said it looks good but will make a exact date around 35 weeks if everything goes well.
