Every year the Flapjack festival comes to town and they always have a pageant ranging from ages 6 month to 17 years old, so I entered Cade. It's was fun to dress him up and kind of a good learning lesson. He has NO patients what so ever he's VERY active so I thought I was in for a HUGE challenge. There were so many little kids there and Cade just wanted to play but we had to stay in this back room forever before going on stage so he was getting very antsy. Cade gets really shy when around a huge crowd and then he will warm up slwoly, so I thought for sure when we went out on stage he would freak and want me to pick him up. Well boy did he surprise me... When we went on stage he stood there and looked right at the 3 judges and smiled and waive to them he also blew 3 kisses (I told him too) and did a little jump then of course waived goodbye! It was so cute ;) He was up against I think 5 little boys his age and he won. He got a sash, trophy, goodie bag and his picture will be in the towns paper. I gotta say it was really fun but I don't think I put him in another pageant haha Bobby barley let me do this one hehe. It will be fun showing his girlfriend someday when he's older, way older!

After the pageant we headed to the fair part of it. We ate yummy food and rode rides. Cade was actually right at 36 inches tall so he was able to ride all the kiddie rides but I couldn't get on with him which freaked me out. He was so good he sat there the whole time and rode each ride, I thought for sure he would try to climb out. He also did some crafts there, he planted a flower and made an economic bird feeder, well I made the bird feeder. The bird feeder was a pine cone with peanut butter slathered all over it and rolled it in bird seeds.
